- 6/11/12: Summer art camp for youth, held at Veraestau. Details TBA.
- 6/16/12: Dolly Parton Imagination Library promotion with a Dolly Parton Look-Alike Sound-Alike Talent Contest. This event will be held at the Lawrenceburg Speedway. Registration form is available online at the HHLL website. Look for "Dolly Parton Look-a-Like Contest - Register Now!"
- 7/28/12: Getting Published and Staying Published. 2PM at Lawrenceburg Public Library District.

Book discussions
Lawrenceburg Public Library District and Aurora Public Library District will have multiple copies of The Great Gatsby and Black Beauty available to community groups and to individuals. Schools will be offered classroom copies.

Organizing Partners will independently host a variety of free activities and programs featuring classic literature, films, music and art. Lawrenceburg Public Library District will coordinate existing programs (Toon In, Brown Bag) with the "Black White & READ initiative" as well as offer special programming.
